Apologetics Class for NCFCA or Stoa Competition

2011 NCFCA/Stoa Fall Apologetics Course Registration is Open!
Do you want to not only understand apologetics but also be able to explain your faith to others? Do you want help preparing for the NCFCA/Stoa?

For the sixth year in a row, I am offering this high school-level Apologetics course to help students:

  • Prepare for the upcoming competitive speech season
  • Understand what they believe and why to believe it
  • Tackle tough questions about your faith

A Parent’s Perspective

This was the best money I ever spent on any class. My son’s understanding of the Bible grew in leaps and bounds. He became more confident in his faith and began helping teens who were wavering in their faith. The best endorsement I can give is this – I persuaded him to take it the first year but he is insistent on taking it for a second year.” – Allison D., North Attleboro, MA.

Students will gather every Tuesday at 1 PM EDT for an online class to discuss each of the 24 Apologetics/Doctrine Topics with students from around the country. Discussions will be from the Fearless Apologetics Workbook (NCFCA) or the Silver Book Doctrine Edition (Stoa). Class starts September 6th, 2011 but late enrollments will be considered.

A College Student’s Perspective

"I took Mr. Bettis's Apologetics class when I was 16. Three years later, I now live in an international dorm on my college campus where most of the residents believe Buddhism and Islam. Peers come to me constantly with very heavy questions, and because of the material that we covered in the class I am prepared to answer their questions about scripture, theology, and the basics of who Jesus was and is today." - Bailey B. (19), Troy State University“I took Mr. Bettis’s Apologetics class when I was 16. Another Parent’s Perspective

“Chap’s apologetics class moved our teen boys from a devotional understanding of God into a deeper theological framework. The classes sparked numerous conversation around the dinner table. Both of our sons came away grounded in their faith and excited about theology. We heartily recommend this course for any family wanting their children to move beyond a Sunday School understanding of the faith.”  Steve and Joanne W., Cumberland RI.
